A. I don’t work from a premises, I travel to you, I do makeup at your home, hotel, venue or event.

 

Q. Do you travel for Wedding Makeup, UK and Overseas?

A. Yes I can, I mostly travel all over East/West Sussex but can travel further, please ask for more details regarding destinations/dates/times/travel expenses.

 

Q. How long have you been a Makeup Artist?

A. Over 20 years.

 

Q. Do you do Hair?

A. No, I specialise in Makeup. I work closely with a team of hair stylist for weddings/special occasions I can highly recommend.

 

Q. Do you have Professionals you can recommend for Hair, Lash Extension’s/Lash lifts, Aesthetics/Skin Care, Nails, Photographer’s etc…

A. Yes, I work some amazing trusted people who are of high standard and will look after you.

 

Q. How long does a Brides Makeup trial last?

A. 1-3hrs

 

Q. What Makeup Brands do you use?

A. I use high end premium Makeup brands and Primers that are designed to prolong the wear and durability of the makeup. I use MAC, Bobbi Brown, Charlotte Tilbury, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Urban Decay, Estee Lauder, to name but a few, and use high end Primers and powders/fixing sprays to preserve the makeup from morning till night.

 

Q. Do you use Filters/Photoshop your work/photos?

A. No, my clients are real, the makeup you see is what they have on in real time life.

 

Q. Do you have a makeup team working for you?

A. No, you will be guaranteed (Jo of Makeup by JC) will be doing your makeup.

I can accommodate all your makeup requirements, small, medium or larger weddings.

 

Q. I’m really worried and embarrassed about my skins condition, are you used to dealing with severe acne, spots, scaring, rosacea, dark circles, pigmentation, hyper pigmentation, broken capillaries, skin conditions?

A. Yes I am, Please don’t worry as these skin conditions are more common than you think.

 

Q. Do you accommodate White Caucasian, Mediterranean Olive Skin tones, Black skin tones, Brown skin tones, Indian skin tones, Asian/Oriental skin tones?

A. Yes I do, I see colour, all beautiful tones of skin and races.

 

Q. Do you have any awards?

A. I choose not to accept nominations for Makeup by JC, put myself forward, or participate in any competitions. I believe as Makeup Artists we all have our own unique individual style. I admire, support and celebrate myself and my fellow Makeup Artists as individuals.

 

Q. Do you do unpaid wedding/photo shoots to promote your/others businesses?

A. No, I’m too busy doing real Weddings

Covid-19

In view of the Coronavirus, if you have to move your Wedding, Prom, Special Occasion makeup I will try to accommodate as much as possible and move them to alternative/later dates (subject to availability).

Refunds of Makeup deposits will not be given if you decide to cancel or postpone your Wedding, Special Occasion Makeup, or your Wedding Venue/Event cancel.

 

All Gift Vouchers/Makeup Lesson Bookings are Covid-19 protected should a lockdown occur or placed into a higher Tier. Alternative dates at your convenience will be offered, no refunds of deposits will be given.
